Work in a licensed upscale private assisted living aging-in-place residential care home. Maximum number of residents per home varies from 6 - 9 residents.

Qualifications:

Strong professional communication skills
Must be able to multi-task and be a self-motivator
Caregiving experience with:

- ADLs; general mobility, grooming, personal hygiene, toileting, bathing
- Some cooking – Must acquire Food Handling License
- Some housekeeping
- Monitoring residents
- Medication Management experience required; charting, dispensing meds
- Willing to learn company policies and protocols

Experience:
CNA, CMA or Certified Caregiver desirable
Must have experience in Geriatric Caregiving
Memory care experience desirable
Needs experience in nursing home, assisted living or residential care homes
Disposition:
Congenial interaction with residents and willing to participate in some activities
Treat others with dignity and respect
Team player and strong work ethic
Trustworthy, dependable, joyful, pleasant and teachable
Calmness and level-head in crisis situation

Shifts:

Monday – Friday:

1st Shift: 6 a.m. – 2 p.m.

2nd Shift: 2 p.m. – 10 p.m.

3rd Shift: 10 p.m. – 6 a.m. Always Awake Staff – Night shift MUST be able to cook.

Saturday - Sunday:

1st Shift: 6 a.m. – 6 p.m.

2nd Shift: 6 p.m. – 6 a.m. Always Awake Staff – Night shift MUST be able to cook.

Part-Time: Shift Floater

Qualifications / Job Description:

Advocate for PBH RESIDENTIAL CARE HOMES
House Manager Certification (either have it already or willing to acquire)
Strong professional communication skills

- Ability to communicate with doctors, home health and hospice professionals
- Ability to communicate with residents and family members

Strong management skills

- Ability to hire, schedule and manage a skilled team of caregivers
- Ability to multi-task
- Self-motivator
- Skilled with time management

- Interview & train new hires

Credentialed caregiving experience with

- ADLs; general mobility, grooming, personal hygiene, toileting, bathing
- Some cooking – Must acquire Food Handling License
- Some housekeeping
- Monitoring residents
- Medication Management experience required; charting, dispensing meds
- Ability to do assessments of potential residents
- Willing to learn company policies and protocols
